Warren Chesser came to Forest Grove in September 2003. He has a graduate degree of Theology from Southwestern in Fort Worth, Texas. He is currently studying for his Master of Theology from New Orleans at the Orlando Campus. He has pastored three other churches prior to coming to Forest Grove and has been in ministry since 1996. Warren and his wife, Tania have four boys named Warren, Jason, Joshua, and Andrew, two daughters-in-law, Rosa and Mandi, and four grandchildren, Benjamin, Jonathan, Ashley, and Chey.
Mark Spradley accepted God's call as associate pastor of youth at Forest Grove in February of 2005. He has a degree in theology from Jacksonville Baptist Theological Seminary. He was licensed to the gospel ministry in April of 1999, and ordained into the ministry September of 2001, at his home church of First Baptist White Springs. He has served on staff at two other churches prior to Forest Grove. He is married to the former Keri Stanley and they have two children: Kyle and Maci.
Associate Pastor of Music and Education--Johnnie Cook & Family
Johnnie L. Cook is a graduate of Mississippi College and the University of Southern Mississippi and a life-long resident of the Newberry area. He has been in the ministry for more than 25 years and has served as music, youth, and education minister in several local churches. He teaches at Trenton High School. He is married to Kathy Cook and they have three daughters: Lindsey, Hayley, and Aubrey.
Kathy Beck grew up in Taiwan where her parents, Morris & Janet Beck, served as missionaries with T.E.A.M. Kathy returned to Taiwan after college and taught kindergarten at the missionary children's school for 13 years. Since returning to the states she has lived in Washington and Florida where she has worked as a preschool teacher, daycare director and as church receptionist. Kathy loves children and has a desire for them to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Shannon W. Braddy was born and raised in Alachua, Florida. She is married to Matthew Braddy and they have a son, Dylan. Shannon has an Associate of Science and Associate of Arts degree in Graphic Design from Santa Fe Community College . Shannon's ministry here at Forest Grove began shortly after graduating high school. She has enjoyed using the talents God has given her by playing for Sunday morning and evening worship services, as well as, assisting in practices for the adult choir.
Church Secretary--Kathy Cellon
Kathy Cellon has served in the church office since 1995. She has been a resident of the Forest Grove community all of her life. Her parents are Joel and Maude Truluck, also life long members of the Forest Grove Community and still active members of the church. Kathy has a great love for the Lord and believes her job as secretary is her calling. She is married to Johnnie and they have two sons, Joel and Jared.
